Privacy Policy

MindQuiz is designed to be private by default. This page explains, in plain language, what we do and do not collect.

What we do not collect

  • No account required. You can take every test without registering or providing any personal information.
  • No stored answers. Your test answers are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers. There is no database of results on our side.
  • No selling of data. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Shareable result links

Your result is encoded in the URL itself, which is what makes it shareable without an account. That also means the URL contains your answers in a readable encoded form. If you share the link, you are sharing that information too; if you send it to someone, treat it as you would any other message about yourself. Anyone with the link can view the result. We do not associate result URLs with your identity.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages are read, and where people drop out of a test. This helps us decide what to improve. We configure it with IP anonymisation enabled.

Analytics records events such as a test being started or finished, and the slug of the test involved. It does not receive your individual answers or your result content. Analytics may set cookies, and you can block them with any standard browser tracking protection or content blocker; the site works normally without them.

Legal bases and your rights

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests for aggregate analytics. You have the right to object to that processing, to request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold (in practice, very little), and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, contact us and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Children

These tests are written for adults. They are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
